WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

  • It was a welcome development, the schedule was back to normal for The Rock Church this weekend.
  • The roads were pretty nasty around the area, so the attendance was off. I'm expecting a full January as the weather normalizes and people set out to get back in church!
  • If you haven't had a chance to give in the last three weeks, do so here.
  • Don't forget, NEXT SUNDAY, New service times 9:30 and 11:30 as we prepare to launch a 10:30 at the new campus in Lake Stevens!
Ps 20:09, "Give victory to our king, O Lord! Answer our cry for help.
Our prayers and focus for 2009:
  • Give our King, Jesus, victory in the hearts of people; in our church, city, region and nation!
  • Give those in authority over us--leaders, elected officials, pastors, parents--victory in all righteousness they put their hand toward.
  • Give victory to the Kingdom of God..."let us be Kingdom minded as we go about our day, job, time. Let us be Kingdom focused in our giving, focus and time..."
After we pray those things and see to it--do everything in our power--to bring victory to those in authority over us we can then expect God to hear our prayer, answer our cry for help.
  • Big thanks to everyone who helped clear snow, ice, slush and the rest. From the roof to the roads teams of people were making sure the experience at TRC was safe! I love that about The Rock, people are genuinely concerned about the safety and health of people. They want them to experience God without hindrance, stumbling blocks or otherwise. Love that about all of you!
