LAKE STEVENS CAMPUS LAUNCH

Some Commonly Asked Questions and the answers.

Q: What times will the Lake Stevens Campus have Sunday services?
A: 10:30 AM

Q: What are the cars doing at the Lake Stevens campus on Tuesday night?
A: The Rock Church rents the facility to another church on Tuesday nights.

Q: Who will speak at the Lake Stevens Campus?
A: Pastors Jeff and Melinda will speak live for the first several months on Sunday. Pastors Ron and Kathy Warren (campus pastors) will speak live also. At differing times throughout the year the message will be via video.

Q: Will we have worship like the Monroe campus?
A: Yes, worship will be live with all of the talented musicians and vocalists. These worship leaders will be a part of both campuses and rotate frequently.

Q: What will we have for Children at Lake Stevens?
A: The same curriculum, structure and passionate leaders as the Monroe campus has. The Children's ministry will be exactly the same as Monroe.

Q: What about youth?
A: Exactly the same as Monroe also.

Q: Who are the people who will be leading the various ministries in Lake Stevens?
A: Those people are being recruited, trained and positioned right now. Much to come on this in the next month.

Q: Will we be hiring staff for the Lake Stevens campus?
A: That is the beauty of multi-site churches. We can avoid the overhead of staffing because we use the staff who are already in place for the first couple years. When the Lake Stevens campus hits is financial goals then staff may be added.

Q: How can I help with the launch?
A: Tune into the LS Campus Blog and come out for the work parties, prayer times and worship.

Q: Will I have to choose a campus to attend?
A: No, we are not forcing anyone to go to one campus or the other. We are however reminding everyone that we are one church with two locations and because you've attended Monroe, but now attend at Lake Stevens does NOT mean you are under a different pastor. Pastor Jeff still oversees every campus and will be the primary speaker and teacher.

Q: Will Lake Stevens be exactly the same as Monroe?
A: Yes, in mostly every way. Except that Monroe is a unique facility and it will be impossible to duplicate what is done in Monroe during the worship experience at Lake Stevens; nevertheless, the same standards of excellence and presentation will permeate the Lake Stevens culture. Another thing, Lake Stevens will never be as big as Monroe in the current location, in fact, we don't want it to be as big at this point. We want to offer two size of venues of The Rock Church. We think this is a great asset to our vision. Yet, if Lake Stevens outgrows Monroe it will be super because we will be reaching more people than we currently are, and that's a God thing.
