We had a blow out pump it up kick off meeting tonight!!! I only wish the whole church would have made the time to be there. Those who were there are pumped up...

Just teasing, it was a great night...
- How many people dangerously take something amazing and make it routine? All of us. That's why we are breaking the normal this Christmas at The Rock Church. We are not allowing the routine to steal the mystery and passion of Christmas 2008.
- This week, look into a snow globe. What do you see? I see mystery, enchantment and remember the Feel Good Moments Christmas is meant to be. I know it's time to stop treating Christmas like an annual routine and put some Feel Good back into Christmas.
- We recommend the best restaurants, concerts, movies and likewise to our friends, neighbors and co-workers, but we lethargically recommend our church to anyone. Do you know why? Because you are treating God like it's nothing special. Break the routine this Christmas and see through a new lens.
- If you're in a position to give; give big with a capital B this season. Why? Because there is great cause and people to care for.
- We are going to have a huge Holiday season.
- I've challenged every person in our church to invite one person/family per week beginning December 7th! I dare you...
- In our culture we are Masters of the "front." You know, the image. We are drowning in debt, but we look good. Guess what, nobody is fronten this holiday season. Just step out and grab some people and bring them to the House!
- I am expecting this series to bring in hundreds of salvation's, and start a 12-month spree of masses coming to Christ in our city....
- Well, there was a lot more at the meeting, but that's why you have to be there when we kick stuff off...it's like the huddle before the play!
