ATTITUDE AFFECTS THOSE AROUND YOU
We've been talking attitude for our devotions of 93 days of summer this week. Caleb was the one with a different attitude, but check what happens to Joshua who is with him.
Numbers 14:30, "The only exceptions will be Caleb son of Jephuneh and Joshua son of Nun." God is telling Moses "who" and "who will not" enter the land. Because of a refusal to believe God none, except Caleb and Joshua, will enter until the next generation.
Caleb was of a different attitude. Joshua and Caleb together were encouraging the people to go into the land and believe God. They found themselves in the favor of God because they believed. They were contrary to what was popular and it paid off. They were set apart from what was easy, and God favored them mightily.
Your attitude is affecting everyone around you. Are you confident God will give the answer to your situation? Are you trusting in the perfect timing of His will? Can you find the courage to believe for the best even though the circumstances say otherwise? Do you believe He is the Healer? How about the Provider of your every need? Do you believe God wants you to excel and overcome? Do you know He can forgive you if you ask? Do you want Him to interrupt your plans? Are you willing to be inconvenienced, so He can do great things for others?
In these times we must keep the attitude of belief. Not only can God do it, but He will do it if we ask and believe! Where are you leading your spouse? Your kids? Your employees? Your attitude is the first thing that will determine their direction.
