THOSE WHO KNOW ME (PART ONE)

Part ONE of the Those Who Know Me Series. This list is the things that "those who know me know."

• Those who know me know, black automobiles are my favorite.
• Those who know me know, I like to laugh and work at the same time.
• Those who know me know, some days it's all business, and other days it's all play; sometimes it's the same day and I just don't sleep.
• Those who know me know, I love to give stuff away. Lots of stuff.
• Those who know me know, I have a plethora of shoes.
• Those who know me know, Daniel's Broiler is my favorite restaurant. I order the Delmonico Steak.
  
• Those who know me know, me as a person of strong convictions, not easily swayed.
• Those who know me know, I will fight pretty hard for what I know to be truth even if it hurts me.
  
• Those who know me know, that when I am wrong I will admit it.
• Those who know me know, when others wrong me I struggle within, sometimes for a few hours.
  
• Those who know me know, that I seek God daily, admit when I'm spiritually dry and not afraid of mixing up my routine to find God.
  
• Those who know me know, I won't change who I am even though someone else thinks I should.
  
• Those who know me know, I like to talk, and sometimes when I talk, it's just that, talking.
• Those who know me know, I hate onions, mushrooms and brussel sprouts because of the smell. I know mushrooms don't smell, but they feel like slugs in your mouth.
  
• Those who know me know, I've had a slug on my lip before.
• Those who know me know, I've had multiple knee surgeries, only a few broken bones, every one of them sports and motorsports injuries.
• Those who know me know, there is nothing more exciting in my life than my relationship with Jesus! What I mean by that is, I've done nothing in this life without including my faith!
• Those who know me know, that I come from two great people, my parents.
• Those who know me know, I grew up in the town I pastor in. They know that I think that is a great blessing, and, at times, a great challenge.
• Those who know me know, I lettered five times in high school: 2-baseball and 3-basketball.
• Those who know me know, I read about 3-5 books at a time and finish about 20% of them. I don't finish a book that does not hold my attention.
  
• Those who know me know, my DVR holds all things NASCAR, Lost, Office, Survivor and Melinda's shows, I like them also.
• Those who know me know, I don't like comic book movies very much with the exception of Ironman and the new Batman. Those rock!
• Those who know me know, I married Melinda when I was 21 and she was 18. It will be 17 years this August 2nd.
• Those who know me know, my wife is the single most important human on the planet!
• Those who know me know, that my new baby daughter is only out ranked by my wife! To be so little, so cute and now I'm so smitten...
• Those who know me know, there is nothing worse for me than disappointing the ones I love; friends and family. When I was a kid all my dad had to say is, "Son, I'm disappointed..." I never needed much more discipline than that...I was pretty simple.
• Those who know me know, how proud I am of my sister!
• Those who know me know, how amazed I am by The Rock Church story.
• Those who know me know, how much I value the team God has given me to do life with!
• Those who know me know, I love life to the fullest, and if it wasn't Monroe and all the amazing people I have in my life it would be somewhere!
• Those who know me know, I love cattle ranches and horses and stuff like that.
