FAITH BY THE NUMBERS

I've been studying faith. Faith is the key ingredient in times like the ones we are living in. We need to have the right understanding of Faith in God.

• There are 667 direct references in the bible on Faith.
• 193 in the OT and 474 in the NT
• Jesus refers to faith in the new testament 156 time in the four gospels (24 times in
• Matthew, 21 times in Mark, 25 times in Luke and 87 times in John’s gospel)
• Apostle Paul refers to faith 192 times in his letter, while the other authors of the NT speak of faith 69 times.
• Luke’s account in the book of Acts talks of Faith 53 times.
• Paul’s letter to the Romans references faith 50 times in only 16 chapters.
• Paul then, in his two letters to his spiritual son Timothy make 32 mentions of faith in only 10 chapters.
• In Hebrews faith is referenced 34 times with 32 of them in Chapter 11 alone…
