MY CRAZY LIFE!
I’ve been inconsistently posting on the bog lately because things are crazy! I love it when a lot is getting done, but I have to say, the volume has definitely messed with my rhythm.
This two day event in April is targeting church leadership teams and church volunteers. We are making a huge leap at The Rock Church shifting from being volunteer based to volunteer centered. If you are a volunteer at The Rock Church, another church or a leader in a church DO NOT MISS Mitosis. Register @ mitosisconference.com.
With the first race of the season only 8 Saturdays away we’ve got tons of work to do on the #70 car. Easter is the biggest services and message series of the year. Last year we had 1,700 people at 3 services. This year we are planning some huge surprises, so get March 23rd on your calendar now! The series will be called, “I heart.” Here is the line up for week 1, Jesus; week 2, People; week 3, Face Melting Guitar Solos (worship); week 4, Justice; and week 5, Life!
We’ve hired a new team member to help us streamline many of the systems at TRC. Matt LaCoss began as the Chief Operating Officer last week. His role is to help every area of the church to retool for more efficiency and effectiveness. In our first few times together we have had great breakthrough in understanding what must change in order to see the Grand vision for The Rock Church come to pass. More on that later…
Sunday comes around every 7 days! Until the message is crafted and ready to be delivered there is not a moment I do not think about it.
