MFI INTERNATIONAL ROAD TRIP

Rory and I drove to Portland after Regional Reach Teams last night arriving at about 3am. I shared my experienece about transitioning The Rock Church from my parents leading it to myself. My session was at 9am--not much sleep. .

At some point every church has a baton passing from one generation to another and MFI (Ministers Fellowship International) is going through such transitions.

One thing that I am really praying about from a Kingdom perspective, as it relates to baton passing, is that the Gen Xers--that's me--do not get overlooked. Between the large generation of the Boomers and the largest generation of the Busters us xer's have a ton of purpose to fulfill. It wasn't to long ago our generation was labeled and written off as lazy underachievers, but obviously a few of us have a lot to say about that!
