Mitosis: March

The Rock Church is making the biggest change in our 23 year history. Beginning in March we will be concluding our normal mid-week service and launching what we are naming Regional Reach Teams.

Today the borders are coming off the way churches do church as the multi-site model is sweeping the nation. While large churches are purchasing buildings, hiring staff and spreading their influence across states I have personally been asking God for the answer for the mid-size church like TRC.

On March 15 and 16, 2007 Melinda and I are hosting John Bevere as our conference speaker for what we are dubbing Mitosis. The scientific definition of Mitosis is reproduction. Like you, our vision is to reach our region and bring the Kingdom of heaven near. Mitosis is the launching point for this new strategy, and John Bevere is an authority in discipleship and building mission. His small group curriculum's have been used around the globe and his speaking has impacted millions.

At The Rock Church we are making the biggest commitment we have ever made to the future of our church. The shift from mid-week services to a Regional Strategy will forever impact the way church is done at The Rock.

If you have been asking yourself the question, “is there a step between Sunday services and full blown satellite campuses”, Mitosis is an opportunity for you to be inspired by helpful strategy. If your church is at the same crossroads, wondering how to do more for God, with less time available, Mitosis is a moment to expand the vision.

At TRC we are committed to Connecting People to Life. Regional Satellite campuses and ministry is the answer. The change this spring is the launching point. Be a part of Mitosis.
