Wally Pearson

One of our city's most celebrated men passed away last week. In a few hours I am sharing a message at his memorial service. I am asking for prayer as there will be hundreds in attendance to remember his life and impact.

I am hoping the Lord will use me in a unique way just as he used Wally. Someone asked me the other day, "What is the difference between a memorial and a funeral?" I thought for moment and said, "A memorial celebrates the life of the person, and a funeral commemorates the death."

Pray that I might celebrate the life Wally lived and honor him and his family in a powerful way!
