RUNNING FROM THE STORMS

To all our friends across the nation, the Island of Guam and other nations, we've had some huge storms. Melinda and I raced up Interstate 5 yesterday trying to beat the storm. We had traveled down to Portland to hang with the team from City Bible Church. They are a multi-campus church and we talked at length about our new ventures in Seattle.

About 2:30 it was announced that Chehalis and Centralia would flood and I-5 would be closed sometime in the afternoon. We looked at the clock and booked to our hotel, packed up, and headed North.

It was crazy, the rain was pounding and we crossed through before I-5 closed by only a short amount of time. We heard it closed at 5:55, I filled with gas on the other side at 5:08. We made it though; thankfully, they announced this morning I-5 will be closed for a few days.

Not only that but one of the skis areas we hang at had a huge landslide. Houses were knocked off their foundations in the neighborhood.

After the snows of December and now the floods of January it's quite a winter.
