NATIONAL PRAYER CENTER

I am a part of the working board of directors for the National Prayer Center (NPC). We are meeting this morning regarding the seriousness of our nations economic crisis, the election and the people involved in it all. Our intention is to mobilize prayer throughout our spheres of influence.

Here are a couple hot items you can implement immediately on behalf of the people of our nation. Don't hamstring yourself by partisan politics and getting caught up in the drama of it all, the bottom line, we need to pray. We know prayer works and can change our nation!

1. October 6-Nov 4th: Daniel Prayer Time, a time to pray 3 times per day. We will have the church open 6am, noon, and 6 pm. I am asking everyone in our church to come to at least one corporate prayer time per day. Did you know every major move of God in our nation began with noon prayer? This will be an atmosphere of prayer, so stop in. You can come and go as you need.

2. Tune into, subscribe and pay attention to what Ken Wilde, founder of the NPC, writes on his blog at http://sites.capitalchristian.com/kenwilde/. Ken meets personally with all of our Senators and Congressional leaders, they know him by name. He has the pulse of the human element of these people who so shape and impact our nation. He emphatically believes we need to be praying intentionally and on purpose! He will be listing daily prayer points during the time of the Daniel Prayer Time.

3. Pray. Give. Go. We live in an exciting time to see God move strong! Pray. Intentionally. Give. Generously. Go. In the next 365 days! We will be sending teams to DC in 2009.
