WEEKEND REFLECTIONS: SUNDAY

What a great week at The Rock Church...

  • The students had an incredible summer camp last week. There were fabulous testimonies of life change. I think experiences like camp are monumental in shaping the spirituality of a student. God just seems bigger, even though He is big all the time, on the last day of camp.
  • The kids also had a 3 day two night camp experience. Upon their return I asked many of them if they had fun. All of them resounded, "YES!"
  • Phrase of the week, "Take Courage. I believe God. It will be just as He said." Acts 27:25. Hearing God clearly is the most important aspect of life. His word is a lamp unto your feet.
  • The reconstruction of the coffee area in the foyer is in full swing. You'll love it when it's done. It was obvious people didn't get their coffee before first service.
  • I've had two emails this week about how people were blessed in their work with promotion and deals. They shared how it was a direct result of their giving in July, to the building.
  • Connecting People to Life. That is the mission of TRC, and we will not stop for anything.
  • It's been a remarkable summer attendance wise. Usually we have a lull in August, but attendance is solid. It's because the crowd is growing.
  • The real strategy is moving people from the crowd of TRC to the cause Jesus Christ. When people take that step life change begins to happen. Every aspect of life begins to be enhanced.
