WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

  • Super Bowl weekend was not a disappointment. I think the world gained a lot more football fans because of that game. But it got me thinking, what happens to the shirts and hats that are printed for the team that loses? Then I saw this report. Very Cool. I'm headed to Romania to find a Super Bowl Championship shirt for the Seahawks!
  • The Gallons Series is in full swing. I'm having fun with this series and learning a ton about the Promises and Blessings of God for my life!
  • I asked business people an email question last week, What are the 3 ways you answer this question, "Why do you do business?" The answers have been amazing; from building God's Kingdom to discipling my employees, and taking care of my family, vision and life.
  • This Saturday morning is Enterprise Ministry Breakfast for Business Leaders. Bob Harrison will be sharing and I will be revealing the answers to the question, "Why do you do business?"
  • I went snowmobiling on my day off Monday. Holy smokes there is a ton of snow this year. I've never broke trail so often. The powder is feet deep everywhere. Talk about fun!
  • We are merely 8 weeks from the first race of the 2008 season! Can't wait to get the 70 car on the track.
  • We have a water baptism in the main services soon. If you are ready to fully identify your life with Christ get baptized.
  • Twin babies in our church, who were born 3-4 months early are home with mom and dad. We sat down with Brian and Amy Menard in December and caught their story on film. Now with the boys home, we are going to reveal them some time in February. This is a God sized miracle!
  • A couple weeks ago I asked people to email me the ways God has blessed their life. Thank you to everyone for sharing your thoughts. I love it and the file of God's Blessings is getting huge.
  • As a NASCAR fan I can't wait for the 19th. The Daytona 500 kicks it off!
  • Well, so much to do this week. We are on a winter retreat with our staff this week. We will be talking volunteers and strategy!
  • I ran across this post while blogging today. A MUST READ IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHURCH!
  • And finally, Watch out Carrie Underwood...you got to see this.
