WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT TRC? 2 of 4

TRC Unique Characteristic: Multi-Generational
People from every generation call The Rock Church “their church.” TRC realizes Christians have a great responsibility to the next generation. For over two decades TRC has been motivated to leave an inheritance for it’s “children’s children.” TRC is not impacted by worldly labels; this church doesn’t care what label a child has been given, if they are special needs, ADHD, ride a skate board, watch MTV or have a top 8 list. TRC labels student’s a HIGH PRIORITY; as a result, people who are serious about reaching student’s with the message of Christ plug in at The Rock Church.
It is quite common to see grandparents, their children, and their grandchildren worshipping side by side at The Rock Church on Sundays. This atmosphere continues to grow because the vision focuses on the next generation, always searching for ways to connect the up coming children. When our kids are well taken care of, we are one happy people.
TRC Unique Characteristic: Volunteering
All churches run on the fuel of volunteers. Nothing of importance is accomplished at TRC without the leadership, ideas, implementation, passion, prayer and strategy of volunteers. TRC Vision requires volunteers; consequently, every ministry is composed of volunteers. TRC has places for members, non-members, young people, older folks, those with a lot of time, and those with little time to volunteer.
In real estate the three golden rules are location, location and location. At TRC the three golden rules are volunteers, volunteers and volunteers. TRC takes the time to honor volunteers at the annual Vision and Volunteer Banquet in the fall of each year. TRC aims to constantly bless, support and find the perfect fit for those becoming a part of the church.
