PRAYER REPORT 8/3

We prayed through several scriptures! Here are two of my favs.

"If I give my money freely I will gain even more, but if I with hold money it will lend to poverty. If I am generous I will prosper and be made rich. If I refresh and water others I will be refreshed and watered myself. If I make myself rich I will have nothing, but if I make myself poor, I will have great riches. Prov 11:24, 25; 13:7 "

I've heard of people trying to give all their money away because they felt so bad about having it. I've heard of people who think if they were to have money it would lead to sin. The amazing thing about God is that if we try and give it away we can't get away from His blessing. Like the lady who recently completed the Tithe Challenge at TRC which says, if God does not increase because of the tithe in 90 days the church gives the tithe back. She called us on the phone crying. She said, "I did the Tithe Challenge, it was hard, I hardly had any money each month, but I was faithful. I just received a $500 per month raise!" That is how it works, when we make room for God in our giving, He gives us more to give!

"God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to me because I am good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and storing up wealth in order that he may hand it over to me because I am pleasing God." Ecc 2:26

I am telling you, add giving to your saving and you will have more than you've planned. Add giving to your portfolio annually and you'll increase even when the market decreases. Start giving off the gross and watch the gross rise. These are the promises of God.

Thank you to all those who are receiving the post card invitation to pray with us in the mornings and responding. Several have called and indicated they are going to begin changing their schedule to be a part of this important prayer time!
