PRAYER REPORT 8/1

This morning kicked off the month of August prayer for our faithful givers at TRC. This year there are 142 households who have given financially every month to the vision of TRC and over 900 total givers. We are blessed to be a blessing.

The Lord impressed upon me the scripture in 1 Tim, "I desire that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands." The reality is our givers need to be lifted up before the Lord. This month on Tues-Fri we are dedicating prayer to financial matters as it concerns our church, business leaders and families. These times of prayer will be filled with the Word of God, encouragement and strength as we pray in agreement.

This morning we collectively realized that if The Rock Church does not stand for generosity, who will? If The Rock Church does not preach, "Prosperity with a Purpose" in Snohomish County, who will? The reality is our church is unique. If we do not fulfill the mandate from God to bring freedom in the area of finances to our region than who will do it?

As Christians we have a promise, "I am a child of Abraham by faith and therefore an heir according to the promises God made to Abraham." Gal 3:27,29 "The Lord will open to me His good treasure, the heavens, to give rain to my land in its season, and to bless all the works of my hands. I will lend to many and not borrow. And the Lord will make me the head and no the tail." Deut 28:12,13
