SUNDAY NIGHT SUMMARIES
The travel schedule has been crazy to say the least. We left for Alaska on Thursday morning, slept about 12 hours between Thursday night and Sunday morning only to get back on a plane and fly all day Sunday.
This week Melinda and I our at our annual Pastors Summit. Historically in the month of September, last year we all agreed to meet in July instead. Should be a great time beginning on Tuesday.
Some highlights from the weekend:
- The race rained out on Saturday night. I hate that for the fans. On the other hand I was running on no sleep and the car was not quite right in practice, so I was a little relieved.
- During the 2nd practice Saturday while talking on the radio I almost hit the fence coming off of turn 4. That was fun.
- I got a text message in the airport yesterday that Pastor Bill did a fabulous job with the message. Way to go Bill.
- I am thankful for such a great leadership team at The Rock Church. There are so many pastors who cannot leave town on Sunday's because things would fall apart, but not us. We have a tremendous team. I have always believed a better indicator of our leadership happens when we are gone instead of when we are there. Thanks team.
Next week we wrap up the LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD series.
