H2O BAPTISMS

It is Sunday afternoon as I write this. I just couldn't wait to share this report! Between last night and this morning 91 people were water baptised at The Rock Church. The message was week 2 of Friction talking about the Door of Fulfillment! The main point was, "When we really love God we obey His commands." (John 14:15) The Door of Fulfillment hinges upon obedience to His commands. After loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind, strength and loving our neighbor as ourselves we can very practically walk through the Door to Fulfillment by fulfilling the commands of Christ and expressing our love for Him through the waters of Baptism and Communion.

Today we did both. We received communion and then spontaneously baptised. Some left the service to change into clothes we provided. Others, after I jumped in fully clothed, came to the water and went in fully dressed in what they wore to church!

I am so proud of these people. Some who were baptised professed Jesus Christ as Lord for 17 years having never been baptised, some for as little as one week and a few I led to the Lord standing in the tub!

Faith is inspiring, to say the least, and today I was inspired by the obedience displayed in TRC! Way to go team! You guys are doing it!
